PROGRAM CORDINATORThis position provides program support for the Commonwealth STEM Industry Internship Program (CSIIP), the STEM Takes Flight NASA Research Experience Program (STF), and other programs as assigned. The Program Coordinator will work closely with the Technical Programs Coordinator and the Internship Program Specialist to ensure high quality, high impact internship programs. This position will support the marketing of CSIIP to students and industry to grow the program. The position will also support and coordinate data collection, reporting, outreach event, and event coordination. The position will report to the Assistant Director. Specific Duties:
The position is based at the Old Dominion University Peninsula Higher Education Center in Hampton, VA. The Virginia Space Grant Consortium is a Consortium of Virginia’s Space Grant universities, NASA Langley Research Center, NASA Wallops Flight Facility, and other organizations with an interest in aviation, aerospace and STEM education, workforce development and research. This NASA/State partnership, which began in 1989, undertakes a wide range of higher education and precollege programs ranging from immersive precollege STEM programs and teacher professional development programs to scholarships, fellowships, internships, student flight and design programs and faculty research awards.
