This position reports to the Research Administration Compliance Specialist and has the primary responsibility for administrative closeout duties related to sponsored programs, intellectual property, and record integrity and retention. The Research Compliance Administrator will assist the Research Administration Compliance Specialist, administrators and compliance professionals within the ODU Research Foundation and Office of Research to maintain a seamless, well-coordinated, and effective compliance program on behalf of the Research Foundation. The Research Compliance Administrator will work collaboratively to ensure that Research Foundation policies and practices align with those of the University and will adhere to the highest level of professionalism and integrity. This position is designated as a flexwork position and is subject to Flexwork Agreement terms.
Education and/or training:
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in related field(s) of finance, research compliance, or Grant Management.
Level and type of experience:
Experience in finance and sponsored program accounting, policies, and procedures.

Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
