The EnMed Lab Technician at the Institute for Engineering in Medicine, Health, & Human Performance (EnMed) will provide essential technical and scientific support for research projects conducted by faculty and researchers affiliated with the institute, ensuring smooth lab operations. Key responsibilities include maintaining lab equipment for biomedical research, as well as performing research projects and conducting experiments and assisting faculty, researchers, and students in accurate data collection and equipment training. Hands-on experience in biomedical engineering, biology, chemistry, or a related discipline is required, with familiarity in cell culture, imaging techniques, materials characterizations and mechanical testing considered advantageous. The technician must have strong organizational and multitasking abilities, work well in a collaborative environment, and adhere to safety protocols. Opportunities for professional development and involvement in cutting-edge research in biomedical engineering are also part of this role.
Education and/or training: Experience in Engineering, Biology, or a related discipline.
