Copywriter/Proofreader-Part Time - CIEES

Summary
This position will support the production of CIEES's Special Projects through proofreading, copywriting, and editing content for professional development. This position requires flexible hours and schedule may change weekly. Anticipated to work 15-25 hours depending on project needs. This position is designated as a flexwork position and remote work is possible following appropriate guidelines. 

 

Job Responsibilities:
  • Copywriting, proofreading, and editing, including organization and flow of content for professional development
  • Other duties as assigned. 
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Level and type of experience:
Recent K-12 education teaching/administration experience
Experience applying principles of adult learning to asynchronous training materials
prefer previous experience creating training for adult learners
 
Specific knowledge, skills, and abilities: 
Technical/curriculum writing
Higher education (master’s/doctoral) level writing skills, including APA style 7th ed. citation; 
Prefer Knowledge of storyboarding process for creation of video/instructional  modules
