A highly motivated individual is sought to perform both lab managerial tasks as well as basic scientific research in the field of cancer biology and infectious diseases. The research focus is to understand the molecular mechanisms that initiate and mediate progression to aggressive forms of prostate and other genitourinary malignancies, and to uncover mechanistic pathways that modulate host-pathogen interactions to drive infectious disease pathogenesis. The research centers on developing and applying new technologies in molecular biology and mass spectrometry-based multi-omics analysis to dissect and understand human disease pathogenesis using in vitro assays and clinical samples.
