Summary
The RA will support the 2nd year of a funded grant from National Cancer Institute, in collaboration with Columbia University, through help supporting data analyses and manuscript development. Initial data analyses are complete. Further analysis and manuscript development is ongoing. The ideal candidate will contribute significantly to abstract submissions to international conferences and manuscript development, including co-authorship and potentially first author opportunities. 
Job Responsibilities:
Manuscript, abstract, and presentation development (set-up, formatting, ideally contribute to writing).
Statistical programming under supervision of PI and Columbia collaborators.
Literature review and database management.
Team scheduling, organization, and meeting notes.

Education and/or training: Bachelor’s degree, Graduate degree preferred

Level and type of experience: Experience working in research resulting in presentations (minimum), manuscripts, and/or grant applications (ideal); Some experience with statistical coding.

Specific knowledge, skills, and abilities: Professional communication; Some knowledge of statistical coding, ideally in R. Literature review experience, ideally using software (e.g., EndNote, Zotero).

Preferred qualifications for this position:

R (or other software) statistical coding (data management and/or analysis); Reference manager or literature review experience.

Prior experience as a Research Assistant/Coordinator appreciated.
