Summary

This is a research assistant position working in the Department of Biomedical and Translation Science, VHS/ODU.

The candidate should have bachelor’s degree on Biochemistry/Neuroscience/Biology.  The main responsibility of this position is to perform lab work assigned by PI to complete projects proposed by NIH grants. 
Job Responsibilities:
Job Duties:

  • Western blots, gRT-PCR
  • Immunostaining, cell culture
  • Lab management and animal work

Education and/or training:   Bachelor's degree in biology/neuroscience/biochemistry/biology

Specific knowledge, skills, and abilities:  Undergraduate levels in lab settings, 0-1 year of experience.

Preferred qualifications: Cell culture/animal experience,
